Data for Atmospheric Radiation Measurements-Remote Cloud Sensing Intensive Operations Period (ARM-RCSIOP)

Mission Name:
Atmospheric Radiation Measurements-Remote Cloud Sensing Intensive Operations Period (ARM-RCSIOP)
(click on name for related web site)

Date Acquired: April 9 to May 1, 1994

City, State, Country: Department of Energy, Climate and Radiation Testbed (CART) site, Lamont, Oklahoma, U.S.A.

Geographical Location: 97.49o W, 36.61o N

Highlights: Collection of 15 nighttime measurements. Water vapor mixing and aerosol scattering ratios obtained at a nearly horizontal scanning angle to compare with same observations made on a nearby 60 meter tower. During this field mission, the SRL imagery clearly showed the rapid changes in water vapor and aerosols.
